Parent Coaching for Emotional Regulation and Connection

Parent coaching support focused on emotional regulation and connection

Parenting can feel stressful, exhausting, and overwhelming — especially when you're trying hard and still not sure what to do. Parent coaching gives you a practical, supportive space to slow down, make sense of patterns, and build tools that actually work in your day-to-day life.

This is non-clinical support. It focuses on your nervous system, your child's behavior, and the relationship between you — without diagnosis, assessment, or mental health treatment. If you are looking for clinical support, see Therapy Services.

Ways to work together

One-on-one sessions focused on your specific situation. We explore patterns, increase awareness, and build tools to handle everyday challenges — from big emotional moments to the slower grind of feeling disconnected or depleted.

•       Personalized, present-focused support

•       Skills-based and practically oriented

•       Ideal for parents who want individualized guidance at their own pace

The Grounded Parent — Group Coaching

A 10-week small group coaching program limited to 6 participants. Offered in spring, summer, and fall cohorts. The group combines the depth of individual coaching with the power of shared experience — parents often find it clarifying to realize they are not alone in what they are navigating.

•       Community-based learning and support

•       Shared language around nervous system regulation

•       Structured curriculum with space for real-life application

WHAT WE FOCUS ON

Parent coaching may help you:

• Understand your child's behavior through a nervous system and attachment lens

• Reduce reactivity and build capacity for calm, connected responses

• Strengthen repair — returning to connection after hard moments

• Increase confidence and clarity in your parenting decisions

• Support your own emotional regulation alongside your child's

THE APPROACH

My coaching is grounded in the Jai Institute for Parenting framework, nervous system science, and attachment theory. Rather than focusing on strategies for managing behavior, we build understanding — of your child, of yourself, and of what is happening between you. This is steady, thoughtful work, not quick fixes.
